What to mention for hill and monsoon sites

• Altitude and winter minimum temperature, since both affect cooling and insulation.
• Annual rainfall exposure, condensation risk and whether panels are indoors; ask for enclosures and heaters to suit.
• Access: remote sites may have road or river constraints, and you should share the full address and approach conditions at the enquiry stage.
• Landslide- or lightning-prone areas, where surge protection and earthing deserve extra care.

Monsoon, transport and logistics in the east

The east and north-east receive some of the heaviest monsoon rainfall in the country, and floods or landslides can interrupt roads for days.
